DEFINITIONS
In these terms and conditions, the following meanings will apply:
‘The Company’ G and G Travel (Melton Mowbray) LTD t/a G and G Travel
‘Customer means the person or company whose details are entered on any order or enquiry form on this website.
‘Browser’ means any person accessing and using this website by means of software products enabling Internet connection.
‘The Website’ means the website at ww.gandgtravel.co.uk

YOUR BOOKING
Your contract for holiday bookings made through the Site is G and G Travel (Melton Mowbray) LTD t/a G and G Travel
When making a booking with our sales representative you will need to pay a deposit of £30.00 per person.
Shortly after booking you will receive a holiday confirmation document showing the details of the holiday you have booked and the balance owing. If the balance is not paid by 10 weeks before departure, we reserve the right to cancel your holiday booking, retain your deposit, and apply cancellation charges set out in the paragraph ‘Cancelling Your Holiday’. If you book within 10 weeks of the departure date, you must pay the full amount at the time of booking.
You must check that the details on this confirmatory paperwork are correct as soon as possible. You should print any emails out and keep a copy.
G and G Travel (Melton Mowbray) LTD t/a G and G Travel reserves the right to refuse a booking.
You agree that email can be used as a long-distance means of communication. Correspondence will be conducted between G and G Travel (Melton Mowbray) LTD t/a G and G Travel and the lead name on your booking.
Only clients who have paid in full may travel with G and G Travel (Melton Mowbray) LTD t/a G and G Travel
A provisional booking will be held for a maximum of 14 days unless otherwise agreed. All correspondence will be sent to the person whose signature is on the booking form or who has completed the online booking. A signature or completion of an online booking is acceptance of the conditions for all persons named.
Every booking you make shall be deemed performed in England. English law shall govern every aspect of contractual agreement concerning bookings made from the Site…

HOLIDAY PRICES
The advertised holiday price includes accommodation, travel, meals and excursions as specified in the holiday itinerary. Admission charges to attractions are not included unless specifically mentioned in an itinerary.
While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund. We shall be under no obligation to accept a booking for a holiday which was advertised at an incorrect price.
The cost of your holiday is not guaranteed against circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to any government action (including VAT increase or requirement for additional bonding), devaluation of the pound sterling or increased fuel charges.
OUR PICK UP POINTS
You are responsible for ensuring you are at the correct departure point at the right time. We cannot be held liable for any loss or expense suffered by clients because of late arrival and would strongly advise all clients to arrive at their departure point at least 10 minutes in advance.
Please note that you will be dropped off at the pickup point you joined the coach. We regret we can not drop off passengers at individual locations.
INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that all passengers take out travel insurance cover as soon as you book your holiday with us.
Your travel insurance arrangements are your responsibility and liability. By making a booking with G and G Travel (Melton Mowbray) LTD t/a G and G Travel you confirm for yourself and those passengers named on your booking that G and G Travel (Melton Mowbray) LTD t/a G and G Travel is indemnified from any cost or situation arising from inadequate travel insurance arrangements. G and G Travel (Melton Mowbray) LTD t/a G and G Travel will not be held liable or accept any responsibility for eventualities not covered by insurance.
INCLUDED IN YOUR HOLIDAY
If your holiday price includes all coach travel, hotel accommodation, meals and excursions as stated in the brochure. Unless specifically indicated in the holiday description, entrance fees, guide fees and optional excursions are not included. All
prices and supplements quoted are per person per holiday. There is no reduction in cost for excursions or entrances not taken, which are included in the holiday package. European holidays may be subject to a supplement due to devaluation of the pound sterling if applied by our suppliers. In this case, you will be notified as soon as possible.
RIGHT OF REFUSAL
G and G Travel (Melton Mowbray) LTD t/a G and G Travel reserves the unconditional right to refuse a booking or terminate a passenger’s holiday in the event of unreasonable conduct, which in our opinion is likely to cause distress, damage, an annoyance to other customers, employees, property or any third party. As a result of such termination, our responsibility for your holiday immediately ceases. Full cancellation charges will apply, and we will be under no obligation whatsoever for any refund, compensation or loss you may incur.
DISABLED AND SPECIAL NEEDS
It is your responsibility to disclose at the time of booking any disability or special needs you may have, including any room or seating requirements. While requests cannot be guaranteed, we will do our best to accommodate you. Please note that our staff are not trained or permitted to assist passengers physically.
LUGGAGE
Please keep luggage to a minimum due to the space constraints in our luggage lockers. We ask that you bring one medium case per person, and weight should be kept to a maximum of 20kg per case where possible. Any additional or bulky luggage items must be included in your booking form. Luggage labels will be provided by G and G Travel (Melton Mowbray) LTD t/a G and G Travel.
BULKY LUGGAGE ITEMS
If you require any bulky luggage items (e.g., wheelchairs, walkers, lightweight electric scooters etc.) to be transported, please ensure this is clearly stated in the space provided on the booking form. If we are not notified at the time of booking, we make no guarantee to transport these items due to space constraints. There is limited space allocated to these items, so on occasion, we may not be able to accommodate your request to bring a bulky luggage item.
SUITABILITY OF HOLIDAY
If you require any advice regarding the suitability of a hotel or holiday, please contact us, and we will provide as much information as possible to help you make an informed decision. This service is intended for information only, and we accept no liability for your decision to travel on any holiday if it is subsequently found to be unsuitable.
FOOD & DIET
If you have any special dietary requirements, please ensure these are included in your booking form so we can inform the hotel. Please note it is common practice in European hotels to have a set menu, and no choice will be offered.
VEHICLE REFRESHMENTS
You are welcome to eat sandwiches and packed lunches; however, we ask that you do not eat any hot or messy food, ice-cream or chewing gum onboard. Please use the rubbish bags provided. While we make every effort to ensure drinks & toilet facilities are available on the coach, there may be occasions where this is not possible.
ALTERATIONS
We reserve the right to alter, without notice, routes, seating plans and itineraries on any tour arranged by G and G Travel (Melton Mowbray) LTD t/a G and G Travel
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Your travel information, including pick up times, luggage labels etc., will be posted to you approximately two weeks before departure. Any particular documents, including theatre tickets, will be retained by G and G Travel (Melton Mowbray) LTD t/a G and G Travel and distributed on departure.
PASSPORTS
For all European travel, a full UK Passport is required. We accept no responsibility if passengers do not have the correct travel documents, and no refunds will be issued in this instance. Travel insurance is required, and a copy of your policy must be supplied before departure.
OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS
Optional excursions not included in the price of our holidays are payable to the coach driver on the day of the tour unless otherwise indicated. Where a complete excursion package has been purchased, payment should be made in advance with the final balance. Admission fees are not included in our excursion prices unless stated.
HOTEL AMENITIES
All hotel amenities specified in our brochure will generally be available. However, where cleaning or servicing is required, extras may be temporarily unavailable for part or all of your holiday.
SEAT ALLOCATION
Seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis on receipt of your booking form and deposit. In the event your requested seats are unavailable, we will place you in seats as close as possible to your original request. We may need to change your seat for operational reasons occasionally. On single bookings, we reserve the right to alter your seating to maximize the seating available. We accept no liability in the event of any such change.
SINGLE ROOMS
Single rooms are subject to availability at the hotel, and any single supplements will be indicated and charged at cost. A single room supplement payment does not imply that any room allocated will be anything other than a single room unless stated. Please note that once our allocation of non-supplemented rooms is used up, any further allocation may be subject to a chargeable supplement.
SPECIAL REQUESTS
Special requests must be made when booking and written clearly on your booking form. While we do our best to fulfil any such requests, we cannot guarantee this, and we cannot accept a booking conditional on such a request being met.
CARE OF THE CUSTOMER
If for any reason, you are not happy with any aspect of your holiday, issues should be raised in the first instance with the staff and hotel on-site, at the time at which the problem occurs. G and G Travel (Melton Mowbray) LTD t/a G and G Travel and the hoteliers and coach providers would not accept complaints or liability for any aspect of the holiday unless they were given a chance to rectify the situation at the time. If your issue is not resolved, you must notify us in writing within 14 days after your return.
GRATUITIES
Gratuities to our drivers/couriers are not included in the cost of the holiday. Any donations should reflect on the service you have been given and are at your discretion.
SEAT BELTS
It is a legal requirement that everybody must wear a seat belt in the UK and Europe. If you refuse to wear a seatbelt or forget to use it, you will not be covered by the Company’s insurance, and any fines incurred will have to be paid by yourselves.
Please note you should remain seated with seatbelts fastened until the vehicle has come to a complete stop and your driver indicates it is safe to remove your seatbelt. Any movement around the vehicle while it is in motion is at your own risk, and no liability will be accepted for any resulting injury or accident.
CANCELLATION POLICY
CANCELLATION BY YOU
You, or any member of your party, may cancel your holiday at any time provided that the cancellation is made by the person who signed the booking form and is communicated in writing directly to G and G Travel (Melton Mowbray) LTD t/a G and G Travel. As this incurs administrative cost’s we will retain your deposit and, in addition, apply cancellation charges up to
the maximum as follows; 10 weeks or more, loss of deposit, less than 10 weeks 100% holiday payment. If G and G Travel (Melton Mowbray) LTD t/a G and G Travel re-sell your holiday a full refund will be offered minus the deposit. If G and G Travel (Melton Mowbray) LTD t/a G and G Travel cancels your holiday you will receive a full refund.
Please note that our cancellation policy will be strictly adhered to.
CANCELLATION BY G AND G MINIBUSES T/AS G AND G TRAVEL
We reserve the right to cancel your holiday under certain circumstances, e.g. insufficient demand or if your holiday is influenced by events beyond our control, e.g. war or threat of war, riots, civil strife, industrial action, natural disasters, fire, epidemics, bad weather, technical problems to transport, closure of airports or ports, terrorist activities, hotel ceases trading, Governmental action or General Election or other similar circumstances beyond our control. If this should occur, we will return to you all the money you have paid to us or offer a suitable alternative. Notification will be made approximately three weeks prior to departure.
CHANGES BY YOU
If, after our confirmation has been issued, you wish to change to another holiday, we will do our utmost to make the changes, provided that written notification is received at our offices, from the person who signed the booking form, not later than the date on which the balance of the original holiday cost was due for payment. Any alteration by you made later than the original balance date will be treated as a cancellation of the original booking and will be subject to the cancellation charges set out below.
CHANGES BY G and G Travel (Melton Mowbray) LTD t/a G and G Travel
We reserve the right to make changes to an itinerary or use of hotels or coaches other than those stated should unforeseen circumstances arise. G and G Travel (Melton Mowbray) LTD t/a G and G Travel will accept no responsibility or liability for any delay, inconvenience or change caused by mechanical failure, roadworks, traffic delays, closure or congestion or ports or airports, bad weather, war, the threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, cancellations or changes of schedules by our carriers and other unforeseen circumstances and similar events beyond our control.
In the event that problems arise with a hotel including, but not limited to, hotel ceasing trading or entering administration, outbreaks of illness, or other problems relating to the quality of the hotel, we will endeavour to move to a hotel in the same resort and your holiday will continue as usual. If we are unable to secure a hotel in the same resort, we reserve the right to select a different resort within a 50-mile radius. In this case, if the change occurs more than 14 days from the date of departure, you may transfer all monies to another holiday. If the change occurs less than 14 days from the date of departure, we regret that no refunds or transfers are possible. In all cases, we will endeavour to notify you of any change as soon as possible.
USE OF WEBSITE
You may not permit, create unauthorized framing of, or deep linking to, the Site or the creation of derivative works thereof from any other website under your management or control.
Subject to the licence granted to you to use the Site, G and G Travel (Melton Mowbray) LTD t/a G and G Travel reserves all rights, title and interest in its Intellectual Property Rights in the Site.
AMENDMENTS TO TERMS & CONDITIONS
G and G Travel (Melton Mowbray) LTD t/a G and G Travel may amend these Terms from time to time and place the new version on the Site. For users purchasing goods or registering on the Site for the first time, all purchases from the date that the amended terms are placed on our website onwards will be governed by those new terms. Otherwise, such changes will be effective against existing users thirty days following posting of the amended version on the Site. Your continued use of the Site following G and G Travel (Melton Mowbray) LTD t/a G and G Travel posting of any changes will constitute your acceptance of such changes. If you do not agree to any changes to these Terms, then your only remedy is to cease using the Site.
These Terms supersede any and all other conditions, understandings, commitments, agreements or representations (except fraudulent misrepresentations) relating to your purchase, whether oral or in writing, and contain the entire agreement between G and G Travel (Melton Mowbray) LTD t/a G and G Travel and you relating to your purchase. G and G Travel (Melton Mowbray) LTD t/a G and G Travel advise that you print off and keep safe a copy of these terms and conditions once your order has been accepted by G and G Travel (Melton Mowbray) LTD t/a G and G Travel. We will store a copy of the contract entered into by you with G and G Travel (Melton Mowbray) LTD t/a G and G Travel. You are advised to read (and are responsible for reading) fully all information on this website.
If any provision of these Terms shall be held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining parts of these Terms and the remainder of the affected provision shall be unaffected.
These Terms are subject to the laws and exclusive jurisdiction of England and Wales.
The above terms and conditions apply to all holidays and trips organized by G and G Travel (Melton Mowbray) LTD t/a G and G Travel and apply to all passengers.
